We are incredibly proud of our suppliers, we strongly believe in only using the very best ingredients sourced from suppliers who are responsible and caring in the growing, rearing and farming of their products. Not only do we ‘try to use local produce where possible’ like so many others, we pride ourselves on ‘always using local produce unless impossible!’. Read on to hear about the origin of our ingredients.
Meat
All of our steaks, poultry, lamb, pork and some game come from Badsey Butchers. They source all of their meat from local farms and only choose the highest quality. They mature our steaks by hanging them on the bone for around 28 days, this gives the distinctive fuller flavour.
Our sausages, faggots and pork pies come from A W Lashford & son, Lashfords have long developed an excellent reputation in the area for their fantastic products.Visit their website here
Fresh Produce
The majority of our produce comes from Hillers Farm Shop keeping it local and supporting the local farmers, a lot of our fruit and vegetables will have come from farms very close some produce even coming from Salford Priors. Visit their website here.
Bakery
Our bakery products are delivered daily by Lawrances Bakery in Evesham bringing you the freshest bread and other bakery products.
Fish
Our fish comes from Westwoods fish merchants based in the wholesale markets in Birmingham, their fish is delivered daily from the docks so it is the freshest fish around
And don’t forget our herbs are the most local of all, they are grown in our own back garden!
