Due to increased trade & expansion of the team we are looking to recruit  for the following positions in the kitchen working alongside the chef owners and existing team:

 

Chef, hourly rate  & hours dependant on applicant - around up to 40 hours per week, up to £8per hour  + TIPS!(18 years +)

The responsibilities with this role will vary dependant on the right candidate but will include preperation, cooking and presentation of fresh quality food, cleaning and washing up. We are interested to find the right applicant to fill the long term position and progress within the team therefore we are interested to hear from you  to see if you could fit into our team.

 

Hours of work will include weekends and evenings and all over the Christmas holidays.

 

Part Time Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant, £Minimum Wage per hour + TIPS! (16 years +)

The kitchen porter position does not require any experience but does include a lot of physical work including washing up crockery as well as large pans and cooking equipment, deep cleaning of kitchen equipment as well as general cleaning duties as directed by the chef.

 

There will also be some level of basic food preparation although this will be supervised and full training given.

 

Hours of work will vary with trade, usually from around 10 to 20 hours per week and while some of the deep cleaning can be done out of service and can be flexible around other jobs/commitments the majority of washing up & preparation will be at our peak times of business - Weekends and evenings

TEMPORARY VACANCIES AVAILABLE WITH IMMEDIATE START

 

Due to increased trade over the summer months we are recruiting for temporary positions with immediate starts available.

 

Experience is preferred but not essential, hours as required, generally weekends and evenings. The following positions are available (or several positions can be combined for additional hours:

 

Part Time Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant, £Minimum Wage per hour + TIPS! (16 years +)

Part time waiting staff, £Minimum Wage per hour + TIPS! (16 years +)

Chef, hourly rate negotiable  + TIPS!(18 years +)

Part time bar/waiting staff , £Minimum Wage per hour + TIPS!

 

While positions are temporary to September 2011 permanent positions may be made available

 

Minimum wage - (£5.93 for over 21’s, £4.92 for 18-20 year olds, or £3.64 for 16-17 year olds)

We are looking for someone preferably experience whose duties will include all aspects of general bar work including serving customers with drinks, serving drinks orders to the restaurant via a ticket system, cleaning of the bar, restocking and all other aspects, the position will on occasion include assisting the waiting team by serving food and taking orders although primarily will be based on the bar.

 

Hours would be flexible depend upon trade but would normally include Sunday lunch, Friday or Saturday night and perhaps a shift or two in the week. However hours are flexible, not set and any applicant must be available to work every Friday & Saturday night plus Sunday Day.

This position will be subject to the same tax & NII as all of our positions and will be paid 4 weekly.

 

Part Time Kitchen Assistant, Perm/Temp, £NMW ph - This very part time position consists of between 3 & 12 hours per week assisting the chefs in  cleaning, preparation and pot washing. A successful applicant could expect to train further to prepare and cook starters, deserts and further!

Assistant Manager, Initially starting on £6ph, 30+ hours per week, 5/6 days out of 7-

This full time position has arose, ideal for someone with catering experience either front or back of house be it in bars, hotels or restaurants who may or may not have any management experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant to join our successful and growing business to be trained, developed and learn how we do things with a view to covering days off, holidays and maybe more one day! This part time position is for an someone with some experience in a kitchen looking to progress their skills. You will be responsible for assisting the chefs to deliver a smooth service and duties may include cooking, preparation, cleaning, pot washing and other day to day duties. You must be over 18 (or over 16 on a catering related college course) and available to work weekends and evenings.

 

‘Casual’ Bar/Waiting Staff, £5.80 ph, hours as required, generally weekends and evenings

Working under our Head Chef you will assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen. You must be over 18 and available to work weekends and evenings.
